Quickly following up their recent Easter announcement, Bloodstock organisers have been busy scouring the underground scenes across Europe and beyond to bring you six new additions to the bill:

1. Wheel
Appearing on the Sophie Lancaster stage on Sunday are Anglo-Finnish tech progsters Wheel. Expect to hear some tracks from their recently released debut album Moving Backwards.


2. Solitary
Also appearing will be Preston old school thrashers Solitary who recently reunited with guitarist Gaz Harrop after an 18-year gap and are celebrating their 25th anniversary in 2019.


3. Violblast
Spanish thrash beasts Violblast are set to melt faces on Sunday’s Sophie stage, shredding tracks from latest album Theater Of Despair.


4. Crescent
Adding to Sunday’s Sophie line-up are Egyptian blackened death metal outfit, Crescent, who released their latest album The Order Of Amenti via Listenable Records.


5. Blood Red Hourglass
Finnish metal squad, Blood Red Hourglass also grab a Sunday slot on the Sophie stage. The band are readying the release of their 4th studio album, Godsend for 31st May.


6. The Parallax Method
Finally, joining the Sophie Lancaster stage bill on Saturday are British prog instrumentalists, The Parallax Method, who will be making a welcome return to Catton Hall this August.
