Described as “fun dark-pop”, Indianapolis, Indiana-based three-piece rockers Pravada are offering a free download of their latest single, “Jessica Lies”. Off of the album Still the Sea, the song channels garage-rock vocals, reminiscent of Julian Casablancas and The Strokes, and bouncy, up-beat tempos to create an approachable indie sound, which at times seems to border on the ironic.
Regarding the track’s video – featured below – band member Casey Tennis had this striking insight: “We filmed it in 12 hours. Never underestimate the power of a good wig.” Great stuff!
