Who doesn’t love the sweet, dirty licks of some quality stoner rocker? We’re sure as hell down, so when we caught wind of the new Swiss crew, Mystic Sons and their upcoming self-titled debut, we wanted to help out! Now that the seven-track full-length can be pre-ordered, the trio are turning up the promotional activity and, today, have launched the rad video for the “Mephistopheles” single.
Mystic Sons was recorded and mixed at Blend Studio, Lutry by Jan Saunier with mastering at MyRoom Studio by Raphaël Bovey. Stoner, blues, heavy psych, psychedelic… dig any of those? Check out these dudes! The album drops June 1st.
The band’s drummer, Thibaud, was happy to comment on the new video noting: “This music video is a bit like how we create. We start from a very raw idea, often sketchy. Then we add different parts, variations, lyrics and we play the song several times to get a result we like.”
Before you head off, check out the Mystic Sons album trailer.
