Phil Campbell & The Bastard Sons have announced that they will be embarking on a headline tour across the UK and Germany through November and early December. The news comes just as the band wrap up their shows supporting Ugly Kid Joe.

Supporting on the UK run will be English rockers Leader Of Down – the last band to feature the late, great Motörhead guitarist Würzel. Prior to Würzel‘s tragic death, the band had been working towards their debut release, Cascade Into Chaos – something which the band continued to work on following his passing.

“We are thrilled to announce The Age Of Absurdity UK and Germany headline tour for November and December. It’ll be great to play full headline shows again in the UK and return to Germany to play some cities we missed out earlier this year, showcasing tracks from our new album as well as playing some Motörhead classics!”

I have an unhealthy obsession with bad horror movies, the song Wanted Dead Or Alive and crap British game shows. I do this not because of the sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll lifestyle it affords me but more because it gives me an excuse to listen to bands that sound like hippos mating.
