LAKE JONS Retreat to the Forest to “Breathe Out The Fumes” with New Stream
Lake Jons, have released their latest single “Breathe Out The Fumes” from their self-titled debut record coming in the new year.
Lake Jons, have released their latest single “Breathe Out The Fumes” from their self-titled debut record coming in the new year. It’s a soulful track that’s representative of the album, using atmospheric samples, simple driving rhythms, delicate guitar progressions and lush vocals as the pillars of the band’s sound. Based in Helsinki, Finland, the members of the band retreated to a cabin in the Finnish forest to record the album. The result is a tight blend of ambient lo-fi pop, psychedelia, soul and folk music. It’s an album that definitely has the tone of being made in isolation with a connection to the natural world.
