Young the Giant – “Something To Believe In” [Song Review]
The song is a fresh, emotive and daring move for Young the Giant, and hopefully a foreshadowing of the rest of Home Of The Strange.
Young the Giant’s second single off of their upcoming album, Home Of The Strange, is entrancing. “Something To Believe In” features a hook that is reminiscent of ’80s electronica à la Depeche Mode, layered with haunting vocals, a catchy chorus, and gypsy guitars.
The song is a fresh, emotive and daring move for Young the Giant, and hopefully a foreshadowing of the rest of Home Of The Strange. One thing is for certain; their experimental side is showing and it will set the band apart in the long haul.
