We have the privilege of sharing with you, Snakes in Blossom, the entire new album from Hungarian progressive-grunge metallers, Angertea.
The Skinny: Having recently premiered the music video for their song “Orange Machine” (feat. Franz Stahl), we now have the privilege of sharing with you, Snakes in Blossom, the entire new album from Hungarian progressive-grunge metallers, Angertea. The 10-track offering, Snakes in Blossom, is the group’s fifth full-length to date and is out today, March 15th, 2016, via the Finnish label Inverse Records. (Stream it below, NOW!)
Loaded with all that their fans have come to expect from them, plus some rad new tricks and elements, Snakes in Blossom is both aggressive and experimental, acoustic and balls-out. Easily Angertea’s most diverse offering thus far, the band says of their new recording: “The songs are about the member’s everyday feelings. No bullshit, just what who we are. There are songs about depression, feeling lost, the evil nature of contemporary society, and love…. 3 songs out of the ten feature guest musicians like Franz Stahl (ex-Foo Fighters, Scream), Robert Jaksa (Ektomorf), Flóra Sarusi-Kis, Dióssy Ákos (Kispál És A Borz) and Peter Csontos(The Void).
