ALOKE – “Alive” [Exclusive Album Stream Premiere]
Man, do we love helping to premiere new music, especially when said music is not only totally bad-ass, but LONG overdue. Check out Alive from rock band ALOKE!
The Skinny: Man, do we love helping to premiere new music, especially when said music is not only totally bad-ass, but LONG overdue. This is the case with the album Alive from rock band, ALOKE, a Brooklyn-based quartet that features Christian Zucconi (also of Grouplove). So go on, get comfortable, hit play… these sounds will help you to get through you workday.
Due out on July 17 via The End Records, Alive will see release in digital, CD and vinyl formats. The album, which was produced by legendary noise merchant Steve Albini, was actually recorded nearly a decade ago. It’s insane to think this music has been waiting that long to see the light of day, but great things come to those who wait… and wait… and wait. With a sound reminiscent of At The Drive-In, Fugazi, and early Nirvana, we’re pretty sure you’re going to dig Alive (pre-order on Amazon or iTunes.
