Analog Rebellion – “Hot Shit” [SoundCloud Song Stream]

Analog Rebellion has recently premiered their brand new track “Hot Shit” via SoundCloud. This is the first taste of the forthcoming full-length, Ill’e Grande to be released on February 18th via Dabbo Records. Translated literally as “the big one,” Ill’e Grande takes Analog’s self-described sound of “Stadium Lo-Fi,” and further blends seemingly disparate sonic qualities in total harmony. Some of these qualities include melodically barbed indie-pop, experimental psychedelic passages, musique concrète and even moments of thick-riffed prog-punk.

The Skinny: Analog Rebellion has recently premiered their brand new track “Hot Shit” via SoundCloud.

At its heart, Analog Rebellion is the solo work of Daniel Hunter, singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist from Arlington, TX (with an assist from long-time drummer, Cory Harvard). Hunter has been a voluminous songwriter since his teens and even scoring a major label deal and earning a spread in Rolling Stone magazine before finishing high school. Working as Analog Rebellion over the past few years, he has released a wealth of material that has racked up impressive press credits and fans globally. As a live band, Analog Rebellion has performed with such artists as Explosions In The Sky and Portugal The Man.

On the eve of the site’s 15th anniversary, a full re-launch and rebrand takes us back to our roots and opens the door to a full suite of Music, Film, TV, and Cultural content.
