Skindred – “Kill The Power” [Song Review]

Teasing us ahead of the 2014 release of their hugely anticipated new album, Welsh ragga-rockers Skindred have posted the title track and first single taken from Kill The Power online. Let’s be honest though, even without hearing a note you know that this is going to be absolutely banging so, let’s just say that if this is a taste of what to expect, then Benji and Co are setting the bar high early in 2014.

Massive riffy choruses, chilled verses and a hook that will have your body twitching like someone has just shot 20,000 volts through it, this is classy, slick, catchy ragga-rock from one of the most exciting bands the UK has produced in a long time. So, with more than four months still to wait until the full album drops, we recommend you sit back, light up and rock out to the first taster of what could be one of the albums of 2014!

Run Time: 4:35
Release Date: January 26, 2014

Check out the song “Kill The Power”

I have an unhealthy obsession with bad horror movies, the song Wanted Dead Or Alive and crap British game shows. I do this not because of the sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll lifestyle it affords me but more because it gives me an excuse to listen to bands that sound like hippos mating.
