What one piece of equipment do you use to obtain your signature sound?
Bill: I would have to say my Mesa Boogie M-2000 bass head. It’s a bass player’s dream in my opinion.
What about it makes it so important to you?
Bill: The tube-driven tone and options it has within the eq, as well as the built in compressors.
What are the major pros and cons?
Bill: The only con is that Mesa Boogie stopped making this bass amp years back… but you can still find them!
How long have you used this piece of equipment and would you ever change it?
Bill: I’ve been using my M-2000 for 15 years and love it… best tone hands down. I would give some of Mesa’s newer heads a try.
Any final thoughts or comments on the gear?
Bill: This amp is a great choice for those who strive for massive tone! Thanks Mesa!
