Inner Blast – “Sleepless Monster” [Bandcamp Album Stream]
Formed in 2006, Inner Blast is a gothic metal band from Portugal that soon started to define it’s sound that balances between strength defined by the guitar, bass and drums and melodic softness given by the female vocals and the keyboards. From Lisbon, it’s present members started in November 2010, the recordings of their debut EP, Sleepless Monster. This EP includes 5 themes (Better days, Sleepless monster, Tears, Fixation and Open minds) and it was originally released in December 2011, year in which Inner Blast soon started to show their work in live performances.

Each member has his or her own influences, but in general, they all fall between metal and goth, with a special preference for a heavy sonority but with room for powerful melodies. The excellent consonance that exist between the different members of the band, shines through its live performances, where the interaction with the audience is starting to be their brand image.
