Dawn Dais – “Left & Loose in The Lot” [DVD Review]

Think Cheech and Chong meets ‘Friday’ and you might be able to get a good idea of what this movie is like. It’s basically the story of two ne’er-do-well stoner security guards Left & Loose who smoke insane amounts of weed from modified gas mask bongs and work, (if that’s what you want to call it) as security guards in a parking garage. This is not your everyday, average parking garage though, because as fortune might have it for our two main characters, this garage is the location of a massive grow house and storage facility for some big time drug dealers. I won’t spoil the rest of the plot, but these two bumble heads manage to get themselves involved in all manner of things with some hilarious outcomes.

There are tons of laughs in this movie, both chuckles and full on belly laughs, and nothing is sacred with these guys. The crude, rude, lowbrow humor is just as you might expect from a movie of this sort, but I think it works well. There are also numerous plot twists and turns that while quite implausible, really keep things interesting. At the end of the day Left & Loose in The Lot is a pretty good movie and if you’re in the mood for some ridiculous stoner comedy, this is the flick for you.
