Album Review
Atom Smash – “Beautiful Alien”
After finding commercial success with their 2010 Jive Records Love Is In The Missile offering, the guys in Atom Smash are back with a new, self-released album. A few member changes later, the band is stronger than ever and returning front man Sergio Sanchez and drummer Mark “Taco” Annino are now joined by guitarist Luke “Cowboy” Rice and bassist “Crazy” David Carrey.

Just when you thought the band couldn’t get any better, nor could they outdo their last effort, they go and release this! While the whole album is solid literally from start to finish, the standout tracks have to be the title track “Beautiful Alien”, “The World Is Ours” and a cover of Seal’s “Kiss From A Rose.”
I know what you’re thinking, “Seal? Really?” Yes, really, and it’s amazing! As soon as the first note hits you’re thinking: “Wow, this is incredible!” They not only do the original justice, but take it to a whole new place with their own unique twist. While the title track is downright infectious, current single “The World Is Ours” has been receiving radio play across the US nation and definitely has the most commercial appeal. Bottom line, this album just astounded me. I highly recommend Beautiful Alien and it can be pre-ordered RIGHT HERE.
