AOL has premiered the official music video for the song “Go Go Go Go” by Andrew W.K. and The W.S.C. 2012. As previously reported the song is the official theme song for the World Snowboarding Championships 2012, taking place in Oslo, Norway from February 10th to the 19th.

The lyrics feature shout outs to some of the world’s top international snowboarders, including Mark McMorris (Canada), Tyler Flanagan (USA), Kazuhiro Kokubo (Japan), and Peetu Piiroinen (Finland). Look closely, and you’ll see some of these athletes in the music video as well.

When asked about the making of the “Go Go Go Go” video, Andrew W.K. explained: “We filmed most of the video at our nightclub, Santos Party House. At first, I was wondering if these snowboarders would party hard. And of course they did! Everyone was so nice and super awesome to work with. It meant a lot to me that so many talented athletes from around the world would come together to be part of this song – and part of this party!”

Santos Party House in NYC will also host the international kick off party for WSC 2012 tonight. In addition, Andrew is the WSC’s international rock ‘n’ roll ambassador, and he’ll bring the Santos Party House spirit across the seas to Oslo, where he’ll set up a Norwegian version of the Santos club and curate the official celebrations and live music performances during the WSC. We’ll announce some of his confirmed artists shortly.
