Post-modern rock trio Sun Domingo are offering their track “A Song in Your Name” off of the record The World’s Alive. The band shot onto the international stage when DIY prog-rock legends Marillion invited them to Montreal as direct support for two nights in April 2009. Sun Domingo killed it that night, and the magic of their performance is captured in an upcoming live collection, Live In Montreal/Marillion Weekend ’09, which released digitally on the band’s new label, Rock Ridge Music, on April 20, 2010.

Says guitarist Edgel Groves: “We recorded this album in Montreal while supporting the UK band Marillion, who were so gracious in giving us the opportunity to play for their incredible fans. Recorded over two nights, we picked the best twelve performances and decided to release them because of the magic they possessed when listening back. We believe our fans will love this album because it will give them the opportunity to re-live the Sun Domingo experience, and it gives new fans the chance to hear us in such an amazing setting and hopefully inspires them to come see a show”.
