Seattle-based quintet Minus the Bear is thrilled for the upcoming release of their new album, ‘OMNI’, out May 4th on Dangerbird Records. To get fans excited for this highly anticipated album, KCRW will stream ‘OMNI’ in entirety beginning April 19th. Fans can listen on the “Album Preview” page HERE. Known for an exhilarating live show, one that has won over legions of fans and critics, Minus the Bear will kick off their 6-week national headlining tour next Monday, April 19th in Spokane, WA. In addition, the band will perform a free show in Seattle, WA at Sonic Boom Record’s Capitol Hill store for this year’s Record Store Day (April 17th.)

Minus the Bear are now offering first single, “My Time”, for free download HERE. With deep bass lines, provocative lyrics and use of the Japanese Omnichord synthesizer, “My Time”, is a rush of pure electro-pop lust, revealing new layers in the band’s songwriting and inimitable musical style.

Boldly experimental yet instantly accessible, ‘Omni’ is Minus the Bear’s most provocative and potent work to date. With the help Grammy Award winning producer Joe Chiccarelli (The White Stripes, My Morning Jacket), the band merged their myriad of influences into a sweeping collection of sensual city-stomping rock and deep funk grooves that pulsate with the raw energy of human sexuality showcasing the band’s tremendous growth as artistic lyricists and songwriters.

Fans can pre-order ‘Omni’ and play the 80’s inspired “Omni Says” game at www.omnithealbum.com.
