Linkin Park closed out their successful Carnivores Tour at the Concord Pavilion, CA on September 19th, 2014. Overlooking the city lights of Concord, Linkin Park played a 2 and half-hour set with songs ranging from old to new. Linkin Park was able to interact and reach fans from the front of the stage to very back of the lawn seats. In fact, one fan in particular was brought on stage for fan “selfie” with the entire band. Opening up the night for Linkin Park, two acts included AFI and Thirty Seconds To Mars.

Since the formation of Alien Ant Farm in 1995, the quartet has enjoyed worldwide success, selling over five million records over the course of their three album releases, a Grammy and AMA nomination along with a number of #1 and top 10 singles to date. Now the band is excited to announce their recent signing with Executive Music/The End Records and the release of their new single, “Homage”.

Nick Santino might think it’s lonely touring without a band, but he’s loving his independence. Not having to approve things with bandmates and a label has made his creative process much easier, “like ‘yea that’s cool’ and move on.” Easy peasy, right? While the Rocket to the Moon break up hurt some fans, he’s been aware of those that have followed him through it, or have come back after the release of Big Skies, he wants you to know that he’s “glad you guys finally came back over to my side.”

I was not quite sure what to expect when I sat down to listen to the newest Linkin Park record, The Hunting Party. For me, this is a band that started off great with a heavy, catchy, and raw sound that gradually morphed into softer and less edgy, electronic, radio-friendly music that I found hard to listen to. I had heard much talk about the band returning to their roots on this disc and I was a more than curious if they could pull it off.

Redlight King has released the official music video for the single “Times Are Hard” from the band’s sophomore release, ‘Irons in the Fire’, as the song hits Top 15 at Active Rock radio. “Times Are Hard” is a stirring track with emotional and moving lyrics penned by frontman Kaz, and brought to life in the video which was directed by Strati Hovartos and produced by John Oakes. “Times Are Hard” is the follow-up to the rock radio hit “Born to Rise,” the first single Irons in the Fire, which was tagged as the end title credit for the feature film Draft Day, starring Kevin Costner.
