NYC Hard Rockers BETWEEN THE RAIN Stream Grungy New Single “Ashes” [Exclusive Premiere]
We’re teasing the grungy goodness of Between the Rain‘s latest album, The Knockoff, with a stream of the single “Ashes“!
Between the Rain are a New York hard rock three-piece that is gearing up to release its latest album, The Knockoff, on September 29th. Now, today, we’re privileged to help tease the grungy goodness with a stream of the single “Ashes“.
Taking cues from bands such as Chevelle, Tool, 10 Years, Soundgarden and Stone Temple Pilots, Between the Rain is for sure going to appeal to anyone that likes their music anywhere between hard rock and gunge and alternative metal.
The band was kind enough to tell us what this track is actually all about, in their own words. “The song is about looking at fire from a new perspective, given difficult circumstances. Burning is used to relate a feeling of anxiety; controlling a flame and then losing that control.”
