Album Review
Our Lady Peace – “Curve”
Our Lady Peace has not been able to get back to their former glory and I don’t expect this album to help them get there. Which really is a shame since I was a HUGE fan of theirs for a long time. This new release, Curve, sounds less like Our Lady Peace and more like the love child of U2 and Kings Of Leon. Definitely a new sound for the band, but I am not a fan.

Fans who have been begging for a Mike Turner return will be in the same boat after listening to this record. There are few bright spots such as “As Fast As You Can”, but the album as a whole falls short of any hopes to recapture any lost fans. I am not sure anything can really save the guys at this point. They seem lost and Curve is just a part of the sinking ship.
