LA area songwriter Annie O’Malley has dropped a new music video on Vevo for her latest single, “Klose the Door,” which is out now on all DSPs. O’Malley directed the effort with video work by ThreeTowersFilms, and the single will be included on her sophomore album, due out in early 2024.
“Klose the Door” was written by Annie O’Malley and produced by Nydge (Mas Tsai, Friday Pilots Club). Mixing comes courtesy of mix wizard JJ Catalyst (TYGR TYGR, Hannah ).
Annie O’Malley comments on the single:
“Being the first single of what will be my sophomore album coming out in the spring of 2024 ‘klose the door’ is leading the way. It’s about that situationship that yew always go back to. Wondering if maybe it’s time to klose that door and move on, problem is they keep knocking.”
The young powerhouse talent never forgets to have fun along the way and unleashes a confetti-packed explosion of vulnerability, making the process of self-expression comfortable and infectiously catchy to the listener.
Since dropping her first single in 2018, Annie has released countless singles, and her latest material includes a 2022 album called Skrapbook, and an EP from early 2023 called the koldest season.
Annie O’Malley is putting the final touches on additional music for her new album, all the things that skare me, due for a 2024 release.
