The Last Dinner Party Deliver ‘Ecstasy’ at Webster Hall [Photos]
The Last Dinner Party continue to support their debut album ‘Prelude to Ecstasy’ and hit New York’s Webster Hall for an incredible show.

The name The Last Dinner Party evokes a sense of mystery, artistry, decadence, and theology, all of which the London five-piece embodies. The band quickly gained a fanbase after their 2023 label debut, having only released four songs before heading on a North American tour. Fast-forward to 2024, when The Last Dinner Party released their debut album Prelude to Ecstasy a month ago and are now on their second North American headlining tour.
From the moment the band takes the stage, it is easy to see how they have skyrocketed up the UK Charts (with the biggest opening week for a debut album by a band since 2015). Everything from their baroque-inspired attire to lead vocalist Abigail Morris’ Freddie Mercury-esque moves immediately captivates the sold-out crowd.
Lead guitarist Emily Roberts is dressed in a flowing white dress complete with wings, complemented by bassist Georgia Davies, whose dress flares out as she spins along to “Burn Alive” and “Caesar on a TV Screen.” Keyboardist Aurora Nishevci and guitarist Lizzie Mayland are less fantastically dressed but elicit the same engaging stage presence as the others as the quintet carries on with “The Feminine Urge” and “Beautiful Boy.”
While The Last Dinner Party’s set is shorter than the crowd would like, fans are treated to two unreleased tracks, “Second Best” and “Godzilla,” as well as the entire Prelude to Ecstasy album, including “Gjuha” celebrating Aurora’s Albanian heritage, the rhythmic “Sinner,” and the ballad “On Your Side.” The Last Dinner Party doesn’t forget about an encore, as they close with the theological tale “My Lady of Mercy” and the group’s debut chart-topping single “Nothing Matters.”
