Shower Beers Streaming New Single “London” feat. glimmers
NYC-based pop-punkers Shower Beers have teamed up with Atlanta’s pop-rock group glimmers to cut their newest triumph of a track in “London.”
NYC-based pop-punkers Shower Beers have teamed up with Atlanta’s pop-rock group glimmers to cut their newest triumph of a track in “London,” out today, January 25th. “London” couples a monster vocoder chorus with warm guitars, strings, and organs in a nuanced production courtesy of producer Rob Freeman (Gym Class Heroes, Cobra Starship).
Glimmer’s Maggie Schneider delivers a knockout feature in the song’s bridge, with layered harmonies giving way to an exciting finale sure to awe and inspire listeners. A tasteful departure from Shower Beers’ typical high-energy blink-182-inspired pop punk, “London” boasts a refreshing amount of range from the cheeky outfit.
Shower Beers’ singer Chris Diorio says of the track:
“‘London’ is our most ambitious song to date, and we’re thrilled with how we feel we were able to communicate a grounded story of love found and let go through the song’s anthemic production and songwriting.”
“London” is the 2nd single off the band’s sophomore EP Miracle on 34th & 3rd, which features a globe-trotting cast of features, including Australia’s SoSo, Boston’s We Demand Parachutes, and Orlando’s Outatime! Fans can expect an EP release in Spring 2024.
