The Last Dinner Party (w/ Slow Country) Make a Stop at Nottingham’s Bogeda [Photos]
Rising London pop stars The Last Dinner Party made a stop at Bogeda in Nottingham recently (with Slow Country) and you can check out Carla Mundy’s gallery here.
Just over a year ago, London pop newcomers The Last Dinner Party were slogging away on the London pub circuit before things went, well, meteoric. In summing up the last eighteen months, the band has gone from nicotine-stained London pubs to supporting The Rolling Stones to performing at the iconic Glastonbury Festival.
The rising pop favourites have been compared to everyone from ABBA to Queen and, in April, incredibly, the band finally released their debut single, “Nothing Matter,” and, after a Summer of even more festival appearances, the band hit the road for a full UK tour in October before heading out across the UK and Europe supporting Hozier to round out the year.
You can get their full upcoming schedule here. We sent our photographer Carla Mundy along to Bogeda in Nottingham, where the band played an intimate show recently, and you can check out her photo gallery and the setlist from the show just below.
