GREED CULTURE Teases ‘The Death of Us’ EP with Lead Single/Video “Take It Back”
GREED CULTURE, hardcore quartet from Los Angeles, has released its debut single “Take It Back” on all DSPs alongside a music video.
GREED CULTURE, the newest hardcore quartet based out of the greater Los Angeles area, has released its debut single, “Take It Back,” on all DSPs alongside a music video ready for streaming. The group recently recorded the track and their upcoming EP, The Death of Us, with producer Beau Burchell (Senses Fail, Saosin, Taken). The EP will be released on September 8th, 2023.
The band, which is the alliance of four longtime friends from the Southern California hardcore scene, formed in Summer 2022 with the goal of making music at “full throttle.” From start to finish, the band simply writes songs that blow off as much steam in the shortest amount of time.
Greed Culture guitarist Martin Diaz comments:
“Everyone in the band has been in a slew of different types of bands over the years but we all started in hardcore. It’s been a lot of fun tapping into our roots to make these songs come alive and when it came time to decide where and with who to record, working with long-time friend Beau Burchell was a no-brainer. He makes everything sound amazing and is literally the best guy. We are very excited to get these songs out into the world and start playing shows with our friends.”
Whether it’s a live show or listening to tracks like “Take It Back,” the listener is in for an intense ride and can feel the passion of Dave Rod’s lyrics and scream that is reminiscent of legends such as Sean Ingram or the late Caleb Scofield.
