Royal Castles Deliver Harmonies and Hard-Hitting Hooks on New Single “Sweet”
Guelph, contemporary garage-power-pop trio Royal Castles have unveiled their new single/video, “Sweet.” Check it out today!
Guelph, contemporary garage-power-pop trio Royal Castles have unveiled their new single/video, “Sweet.” The trio partnered again with producer Zane Whitfield (The Glorious Sons, The Blue Stones) and are currently releasing five new songs towards a new EP called Singles Night.
Known for their energetic, hard-hitting hooks for days, blending riffy guitar licks, wooly bass and ear-candified harmonies, Royal Castles have done it again with their new tracks.
The band shares:
“Musically, the song builds off of our Royal Castles catalogue with high energy and bouncy vibes. A call and response dynamic between the guitars and singing can be felt throughout. The addition of Dustin Seabrook (lead guitar) has helped to elevate the sophistication and precision in all things six-string.”
Lead single “Sweet” is all about good love, good people, good times and breaking free from isolation. The last few years have spun us all out, and we need to remember “where the kids go” and make that our destination together. “Sweet” is meant to play on repeat.
The song is an anthemic antidote to the isolation too many of us felt. It’s meant to make your feet bounce – it’s meant to be a party, and it’s meant to be a re-celebration.
