Parquet Returns With ‘Mud’ EP and Title Track Music VIdeo
Mud is the new EP from Parquet, it is composed of the tracks “Brute” and “Mud”, and will be released June 30th 2023.
Mud is the new EP from Parquet, a French Avant Rock band based in Lyon featuring Seb Brun (composition, drums & electronics), Nicolas Cueille (guitar), Guillaume Magne (guitar), Jean-François Riffaud (bass & synth bass), Simon Henocq (electronics), Clément Édouard (electronics), and Julien Desprez (guitar).
It is their first release since 2018, and it foreshadows the release of a phenomenal full-length album in the fall. Composed of the tracks “Brute” and “Mud,” the new EP will be released June 30th. Mud will be available on vinyl here and on all digital platforms; check it out.
The EP is accompanied by a stunning music video shot by director Maxime Séve. It features an empty urban space, the body of dancer Véronique Lemonnier and mud! By focusing on length and repetitions while ignoring aesthetics, the dancer demonstrates unwavering drive, outperforming herself in her movements and displaying silent power and tenacity.
