Experimental rock band Lodestar have dropped new single, the vengeful “Bring Me The Head”. Check out the video here…

Experimental rock band Lodestar have released their brand new single “Bring Me The Head”. The vengeful “Bring Me The Head” is taken from their forthcoming album, Zonen, released on 17th May.
After releasing two killer singles and touring with the likes of Tool, the band ceased operating in 1997. Now, in 2024, Lodestar returns joined by Charlie Beddoes (Rub Ultra, Trash Palace, Nasty Little Lonely) on bass.
Check out the video for the single, which features an appearance from horror icon Peter Cushing, here:
Lodestar says of the track:
“Bring Me The Head is the delusion that someone else is responsible for your woes. If only you could exact vengeance. Bring me the head of John the Baptist, Alfredo Garcia, Charlie Brown but surely never you?”
The single provides fans with a taster of their upcoming new album, Zonen, which the band are set to release on May 17th. To celebrate the release of Zonen, Lodestar have a number of shows and festival appears lined-up with more to be confirmed.
Speaking of the album, Lodestar said:
“We have evolved individually in different projects and that has fed into this new album. There has been switching of instruments and a lot of new techniques applied in service of the songs. We naturally went for leaner, more memorable songs while maintaining and increasing the weight and power. Lyrically it’s strange, coming back to it almost thirty years later. Though so much has evolved, there’s still a fascination with some of the same themes.”
Tour Dates:
05/18 – Heartbreakers – Southampton
05/19 – Desertfest – London
