Cliffs + Caves’ “Sunrise” Single is a Metaphor for Young Love

Mother-daughter duo Cliffs + Caves’ new single “Sunrise” is a Maggie-Rogers-esque blend of Americana and alternative pop that transforms the feelings of love and longing into a heartfelt song. “Sunrise” is an uplifting and passionate track about young love – a metaphor for duo member Claire Justice’s two-year long-distance relationship.
She comments:
“Creating art with your child is a gift. The process changes as your relationship evolves, and it’s difficult at times but so rewarding.”
Cliffs + Caves has been a duo for nearly six years and are thrilled to be releasing their latest single, “Sunrise,” in anticipation of more new music to come in 2023. A musical powerhouse and harmonious team, Cliffs + Caves has learned when to step back and give each other the necessary time and space for independent ideas and inspiration, giving the duo a unique synergy that creates a superlative work of art. Comparable to music from Phoebe Bridgers, Lake Street Dive, and Patty Griffin, Sunrise by Cliffs + Caves is an engaging love song for people in all stages of relationships.
