Moonshine Collective, the JUNO Award-nominated afro-house group from Montreal, has confirmed a December 2nd release of their upcoming album, SMS For Location, Vol. 5, via FORESEEN Entertainment.
Commenting on the album, the band states:
“For volume 5, we stayed true to the philosophy of the SMS For Location series. We worked with artists who understand the importance of the magic of the dancefloor while trying to create a musical link between all the musical movements we love. And, in our eyes, from this point of view, it is certainly our most complete project to date.”
The next singles will arrive on November 16 and include “Ofele (remix),” featuring Moonshine member and 2022 Polaris Music Prize-winner Pierre Kwenders, Uproot Andy, MC Azas) and “Pink,” featuring Kris the $pirit.
A pre-release pack is also available via their signature ‘SMS’ text message format for which they are known. Text +1 514.612.4859 to access the music. SMS For Location, Vol. 5 follows their celebrated 2021 album, SMS For Location Vol. 4, nominated for a 2022 JUNO Award (Global Music Album of the Year).
