Canadian alternative R&B artist and producer Jesse Maxwell has shared a music video for his latest single, “6.” The news comes soon after releasing his LP2 full-length album, out via The Orchard.
A highly artistic project, Jesse’s thought-provoking new music video uses imagery of drowning to represent the chaos of being lost in the feeling of anger. The video was directed by up-and-coming filmmakers Eric Kingsbury and Adrian Altobelli of Toronto’s Pie in The Sky Studios.
Says Jesse of the new video:
“I’m so proud of this video. I feel it’s one of the most bold, eerie, and artistic works we’ve ever created. For me, this video symbolizes the relationship someone faces with their inner anger. Being allured by the fire of powerful emotions and simultaneously the isolating place that can keep you in.”
