The Halo Effect Team up with Ihshan to Reimagine ‘Shadowlands’ Single; Hometown Shows Announced for 2023
Rising Gothenburg metallers The Halo Effect have teamed up with Emperor mainman Ihsahn to reimagine ‘Shadowlands’. Check it out here.
Currently on tour across Europe with Machine Head and fellow Swede’s Amon Amarth, Gothenburg newcomers The Halo Effect have teamed up with Emperor mastermind Ihsahn to reimagine their lead single “Shadowminds” the lead single from their debut album, Days of the Lost.
Check out the track here:
Commenting on the remix, Ihsahn said:
“I was flattered when my friends in The Halo Effect approached me for a remix, and, given the pedigree of Swedish metal within the band, I knew the original track would of course be stellar! So, I decided to try a somewhat experimental approach while still building on the core elements of the song. I hope Halo-fans will appreciate this slightly twisted version of Shadowminds.”
Following the completion of their hugely successful run with Machine Head and Amon Amarth, the band recently announced three headline shows in their home country of Sweden for early 2023.
02/16 – STOCKHOLM – Debaser
02/17 – GOTHENBURG – Pustervik
