Taken from their freshly-released ninth album, Omens, US metal juggernaut Lamb of God have just posted their latest video for the track “Ditch”.

In further news, the band will be live streaming their set from Aftershock Festival tomorrow (4am BST, 8pm PT / 11pm ET), on the DWP Twitch Channel. If their Aftershock set is anything near the level of their recent Bloodstock Open Air headline set, it’ll be well worth staying up for.

Until then, you can watch “Ditch” here:

If all of that isn’t enough, the band recently premiered The Making Of: Omens, a short film documenting the recording of their Omens album. The documentary is available to watch on-demand throughout the month of October at http://watch.lamb-of-god.com. It’s worth noting that all physical CD and Vinyl orders of Omens from the Nuclear Blast store also include a free access code to watch the documentary. Standalone video-on-demand tickets are on-sale now.

Speaking about the documentary, the band said:

“In February 2022, we entered Henson Studios in Los Angeles, CA to begin recording our 9th studio album, what would become Omens. We recorded this record the old-fashioned way… with five of us, in a room together, playing music. We filmed the entire process.”

The documentary includes four full song performances recorded in the live room at Henson Studios: “Nevermore”, “Omens”, “Vanishing” and “Gomorrah”.

The group are midway through a massive U.S. headline tour, featuring special guests Killswitch Engage on all dates. Remaining legs of the tour bring support from Spiritbox, Animals As Leaders and Fit For An Autopsy. Tickets are on sale now.

Lamb of God – State of Unrest 2022 Tour Poster

I have an unhealthy obsession with bad horror movies, the song Wanted Dead Or Alive and crap British game shows. I do this not because of the sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll lifestyle it affords me but more because it gives me an excuse to listen to bands that sound like hippos mating.
