If you hanve¤t already checked it out, now’s a great time to stream the latest release from Matziz (aka Mathieu TORRES). Out as of Friday, October 21st via Evosonic Records, L’émoi is the artist’s fourth album and features a slick mix of trip-hop, drum & bass, electronica, IDM and more.

Similar to previous releases Troie (2016), The Silver Cat (2018), and 13 Monkeys (2020), the new recording is one that isn’t shy to step outside the norm.

According to the artist and label, “L’émoi is an ode to the 12 months, the different cyclical sensations that come back each year to be added to our emotions.”
