Swedish Producer Slumberville Returns with Motivational New Track “For The Win”
Swedish producer Slumberville takes a different direction on his motivational new single “For The Win” which you can check out here.
One of Sweden’s ‘hip hop pioneers’, Sebastian Fonda, AKA Slumberville, has been described as ‘one of the most entertaining hip-hop artists in Sweden’, is hoping 2022 will see him add to a catalogue that includes 3 Platinum and 10 Gold selling songs.
With a motto that epitomizes his music, “simplicity is key”, for the lo-fi music created by the producer. Loving the DIY headspace, the approach and creative freedom of a ‘bedroom producer’, Sebastian loves incorporating different genres/styles into his lo-fi world. You can hear this approach to his music in the motivational new single “For The Win”.
Taking a shift in musical direction from his recent singles “Gulfoss” and “Forever Young”, check out the single here:
Speaking of the track, Slumberville says:
‘For the Win’, I wanted to create like a pre-game locker room track – where teams and players from all types of sports can get prepared, focused and ready for the game. Thought it would be interesting doing this in lo-fi hip-hop – it’s usually, understandable, up-tempo EDM. I wanted to blend “Justice” & “Yo-Yo Ma” with an east coast “DJ Premier” vibe.
Slumberville releases “For The Win” through Nettwerk on May 20th, 2022.
