5-Time Platinum Songwriter Andreas Moe Teases Anticipated EP with New Single “Hey Lulu”
Critically acclaimed Swedish artist Andreas Moe is back with another new single in 2021 entitled “Hey Lulu” – released on April 9th. Premiering on Top Shelf Music Mag, “Hey Lulu” is a peek inside Moe’s home-recorded and self-produced collection of songs that came to fruition during isolation from the COVID-19 pandemic. Showcasing a lighthearted acoustic groove against his quintessential soothing vocals, “Hey Lulu” dives into a lyrical exploration about the best kind of friendship.
“Regardless of the circumstances, distance, or time, you will always be there for them – no matter what,” says Moe of the song’s inspiration. “You will always do your best to listen without judgment and to encourage and show them that they are loved and appreciated in a permanent way. This friendship in the song is with a girl called Lulu… I think we all have at least one Lulu in our life who we feel deserves more and can achieve more with the right kind of love and support.”
“Hey Lulu” follows the early 2021 release of “Holding On” which was featured in American Songwriter and Official Apple Music and Spotify Playlists, among several other notable mentions. “Holding On” and “Hey Lulu” are the first taste of what is to come with Moe’s highly anticipated EP due to be released towards the end of May.
As a five-time Platinum-certified songwriter, Moe has worked with artists around the world such as Avicii, John De Sohn, Tiesto, Cheat Codes, Omi & Sabrina Carpenter. Having opened for artists like Gabrielle Aplin, Kodaline and for John Mayer during The Search For Everything Tour performing at the famed O2 Arena in London and the Stockholm Globe Arena, Moe is an experienced performer – garnering millions of fans worldwide. In December 2019, Andreas Moe was invited to perform at the Avicii tribute concert in Stockholm alongside international stars including Rita Ora, David Guetta & Kygo in front of a 60,000 strong audience.
