What is a Paltrocast?
– In July 2018, New York-based writer and editor Darren Paltrowitz launched the Paltrocast in partnership with PureGrainAudio (now V13 Media). This award-winning, bi-weekly podcast features exclusive interviews with top entertainers, entrepreneurs and other cultural influencers. More info on Darren and the Paltrocast can be found online at www.v13.net/paltrocast and www.paltrowitz.com.
Episode #066 of the “Paltrocast With Darren Paltrowitz” features an exclusive December 2020 interview with songwriters Franke Previte and John DeNicola, who co-wrote the “Dirty Dancing” anthems “(I’ve Had The) Time Of My Life” and “Hungry Eyes.” That is far from the only credit Previte or DeNicola had, as the two were active as musicians and songwriters before and after their “Dirty Dancing success.”
Theme song by Steve Schiltz. Audio mix by Mark Piro. Produced with V13 Media. Thanks for listening!
Our guests from top to bottom: Frankie Previte, John DeNicola
