Canadian Rock Outfit Dead Defined Shares “Lifeline” Music Video
Dead Defined is lead by singer/songwriter Craig Ewan (ex-Shadows in Red), previously of the Toronto hard rock band Waveline, and the outfit has just shared a music video for their hard-hitting single “Lifeline.”
According to the Ewan, “The song, which plays out primarily over a driving ‘four on the floor’ beat digs into the fragility of a relationship with someone struggling with their sobriety, taking a turn along the way. It shows the complexity of an emotional battle early on with the chorus ‘I could be your savior, would you be mine, pretty misbehavior, I will be your Lifeline.’ This song is very personal to me about my lover’s recovery, the message is very powerful to not give up on ourselves or the people who are trying.”
Dead Defined is a solo project which sees Craig Ewan handling all instrumentals and vocals. Production and engineering of the new music was handled by Mike Dmitrovic of Voodoo Records Canada.
