No Longer Quiet About Quiet Brother
We’re no longer keeping quiet about a new band on the indie-folk block, Quiet Brother. The musical trio, comprised of college pals – turned – bandmates, Jake Bair, Nate Elder, and Andrew Galuppo are bursting onto the music scene with meaningful, oh-so-relatable lyrics and a soul-stirring, industry-defying sound that lulls listeners into a melodic daydream. Their latest track, “Running”, is the musical matrimony of Bon Iver-esque vocals and an instrumental medley of wind, string, and percussion sounds. The band members, based in central Pennsylvania, penned the lyrics about the all-too-common problem of stagnancy and falling back into old ways on the path of moving forward. “The track is about when you know you need to change but keep going back to those old habits,” says Galuppo. (Can’t we all relate to this?!) If you’re looking to stir up your emotions and settle them all at once, add “Running” to your favorite playlist and be on the lookout for Quiet Brother’s anticipated debut EP, coming soon.
