Patrick Doval, the Miami, FL-based singer/songwriter and producer, is back with eleven fresh new cuts which take on a slick ‘80s influence which only help to further justify previous comparisons to artists the likes of The Cure and David Bowie. The new album and follow-up to his June 27, 2016 release, Obscured, is titled Broken, and as he states, is “an ode to loneliness, betrayal.”
Speaking of the new album and the meaning behind its title, Doval was kind enough to send us a quote, noting, “‘Broken’, to me, means something that is no longer able to function or work. What was, will never be again. The loss of hope and the shattering of positive emotions that lead to sadness and empty feelings of heartache relate to the album’s lyrics.”
If it ain’t Broken, the don’t stream it!
