London, Ontario rockers, Texas King, can’t be the “Only One” not sleeping until they’re dead, can they? We’re kicking off your Monday morning, and week ahead, with a premiere of the band’s new video for the aforementioned song, “Only One.” The video is only the group’s second to date, and follows the one for “Boomerang” (see it below).

Checking in with a brief comment regarding the track, frontman Jordan MacDonald said, “‘Only One’ is a song about the fear of missing out. Not wanting to sit on the sidelines while everyone else is in the game.” The song is the title track from the band’s 2017 full-length debut record, which if you haven’t already, you can purchase/stream via various outlets here. Don’t miss Texas King when they return to their hometown of London on December 1st for a massive show the London Music Hall.

A song and video we’ve previously featured, we’re bringing back “Boomerang”!

Texas King formed back in 2013 and soon after earned a reputation for their fiery live performances. After some local tours of Ontario and a trip out to the East Coast in support of their debut EP, the group released Circles in October 2017, led by the lead single “Boomerang.” The hook-filled Circles has seen a highly positive response, which even resulted in Texas King traveling south and doing their first U.S. tours through the Mid-West. 2018 has been even better for the guys as they made the trip out to Vancouver for the week of the Juno Awards. The year has also included some more Canadian touring, with well-established Canadian bands such as The Glorious Sons and The Sheepdogs.
