Norway’s Vreid (Norwegian for “Wrath”) have unveiled “Black Rites in the Black Nights,” the second and latest track off of their new album Lifehunger. The new album sees the veteran quartet present their traditional melodic black metal with a unique rock edge. Many of the songs feature lead guitars with somber melodies and ferocious blast beats. Regarding the track, the band commented, “A new chapter opens, and its a dark one. The eternal rites can never be controlled, and khaos will forever conquer. So join the madness and let the fire of creativity burn.”
