Kyle Hunter and Dylan Parker, guitarists of Canadian metal band Protosequence have released a total shred fest guitar playthrough for the track “The Hate Subsides.” The band’s latest release is the EP Biophagous. This is the follow up to the band’s debut from 2016, Schizophrene.
The band draws influences from bands such as All Shall Perish, August Burns Red, and The Black Dahlia Murder with their music rooted in technicality with emotional, gruff vocals layed over top. The group easily transitions through djent riffs, grinding drums and groove elements, making their sound versatile and ever-changing.
