Toronto rapper Otis Silver has reached a new level with a mellow hip-hop single entitled “Catch Me If You Can”. After a couple of EPs and many collaborations, Silver has demonstrated a new standard for himself which exceeds his already impressive catalogue.
The track opens with dreamy organs and proceeds into an R&B-tinged rhythm. The breathy vocal layers compliment the lyrical narrative, which tells the story of a man who rejects an opportunity for romantic infidelity. The second verse, performed by Kidocean, maintains the lyrical quality with a more complex rhythm. Overall, Otis Silver delivers through memorable melodies, a subtle rhythm, and pleasant vibes.
Run Time: 3:47
Release Date: November 27, 2017
