Finnish band Jess and the Ancient Ones has released the new track “Return to Hallucinate” from the new album titled The Horse and Other Weird Tales. The album sees the band take a magical mystery tour to the dark side of the 1960s through the eyes of modern day rock musicians. This time around, the band attempted to create an organic and human sounding record, produced in an old fashioned way.
In attempting to put a classification on how The Horse and Other Weird Tales, guitarist Thomas Corpse had trouble making such a distinction. “I cannot put a label on it; I just make it as it comes,” said Corpse who also created the cover art to the record.
