Head on over to Denver. Colorado, grab yourself some crazy kush, then make sure you find a way to catch local rockers LaRissa Vienna and the Strange before they blast off to Neptune VII. The female-fronted alternative rockers–who sport a wide range of influences from David Bowie to Marilyn Manson to Shirley Temple–have just dropped their new album Neptune VII and we’re stoked to offer you the exclusive premiere.
Commenting on the album, LaRissa said, “I wrote this album over the course of a few months. Most songs almost had a dozen different versions until I landed on the final product. Through the writing process, my goal was to reconnect with my inner child, remind myself why I started making music in the first place, and to create in a free state of mind. I pushed outside of my comfort zone to make these songs, and they’re my most personal work. I am an autobiographical writer, and Neptune VII is my most honest record. I’ve never been so ecstatic to share something with the world.”
