Dark Tranquillity (w/ Warbringer, Striker) @ Mod Club Theatre (Toronto, ON) on September 18, 2017 [Photos & Show Review]
Swedish death metal band Dark Tranquillity rolled through the Mod Club along with Los Angeles thrashers Warbringer and Canadian metal act Striker.
Last Monday night was International Metal Mayhem Madness at the Mod Club and saw Swedish death metal band Dark Tranquillity roll through town along with Los Angeles thrashers Warbringer and Canadian metal act Striker.
Striker started the evening off with a full throttle metal assault! These dudes did a phenomenal job of getting things started with the first of an ongoing circle mosh that just kept getting bigger and more crowded as the night went on. Warbringer hit the stage next and performed their entire album Woe To The Vanquished. During their performance a few brave (or just crazy) fans left the chaos of the mosh pit to crowd surf onto the stage.
Dark Tranquility closed the night off for us with their melodic death metal set which left a club full of totally happy metalheads with ringing ears to boot. A pretty damn good way to start off the week.
