Day 2 of the Monsters of Rock cruise is a party day at sea. Which means you can sleep off the remnants of last night and start the day at your leisure. I took it easy, exploring the ship and riding the cool glass elevators. There were always events going on with the bands too; Joel Hoekstra had a Bloody Mary Mix show up on the pool stage, all the bands had Q&As, the Photo Experience, and Sirius Radio’ host Eddie Trunk was broadcasting live from the ship.

There were also tournaments in the Casino and for those that just can’t get enough, there was late-night Karaoke. The concerts I saw today were Heavens Edge and Y&T on the Pool Deck, then Vince Neil in The main Theatre, who was thankfully joined on stage by the members of Slaughter. That’s the nice thing about these music cruises. You can do as much, or as little as you decide.
