Day 2 of the eighth annual Monsters of Rock Cruise brought passengers to Cococay in The Bahamas for the first of two beach party days.
The fourth and final day of 70000tons of Metal is always the most insane. Many of the sailors dress up in costumes and the partying goes into overdrive.
On Day 3, 70000tons of Metal was brutalized by Meshuggah, as well as Sonata Arctica, Cannibal Corpse, Wolfheart, and Die Apokaliptischen Reiter.
The Pool Deck Stage was open and ready for an epic party with headliner Sabaton on Day 2 of 70000tons of Metal.
On day 1 of the world’s biggest Metal cruise, 70000tons of Metal, we caught great acts from Primal Fear, Insomnium, Belphegor, and Goatwhore.
Day 4 of 70000 Tons of Metal is always the craziest. We caught the All-Star Jam (aka Jamming in International Waters) with musicians from various bands performing classic metal covers.
Day 5, the final day for some Rock N Roll R&R. The shows that we caught were: Joel Hoekstra’s 13, John Corabi, Girlschool, Bullet Boys, Tom Keifer, and The Answer.

Day four on the Monsters Of Rock Cruise and we’ve arrived in Cozumel, Mexico… sounds like it’s Tequila time! It also just happens to be Super Bowl Sunday!
