Castlemaine, Australia’s noise rock twosome, Dead, have debuted the song “Chartreuse Blew” from their forthcoming recording, We Won’t Let You Sleep, due April 28th, 2017 via We Empty Rooms.
We Won’t Let You Sleep follows 2016’s Untitle, was engineered by Toshi Kasai (Melvins, Helmet, Big Business), recorded and produced LA’s Sound of Sirens Studios. Kevin Rutmanis (Cows, Melvins, Hepa.Titus) guests on a third of the record adding slide bass parts delivered in a style that is unmistakably his. The band chose to collaborate with Kevin due mainly to his 100% Aussie first name, making it easy to add him into the mix.
